About The Experience…
The CBMI Experience uses biblical principles to foster spiritual and personal growth in a safe space. By studying the Word of God, we use our weekly platform to help people express their inherent God-given gifts so that they may serve the kingdom whatever their line of work. Each week we have an expectation that within the intimacy of our safe space that our attendees will experience God and His love in a fresh way and learn something that will renew their minds and encourage their hearts.
In addition to weekly meetings there are monthly fellowships for Men and Women. “The Heart of Men” and “A Woman’s Place” provide the Word, encouragement and support and challenge attendees to operate and grow in love. Our annual weekend retreat, “Relax, Relate, Release” takes place in Upstate New York and provides another opportunity to experience God and meditate on His Word. Throughout the year there are social events that allow like-minded believers to get out, have fun and enjoy life together in New York City.

Dennis W. Boyd Jr.
Dennis William Boyd, Jr. has worked in the human service industry for twenty years and currently is a Consultant who works with the New York City Department of Education, public schools, churches, and youth-focused not-for-profit organizations.
In April of 2011, Chris Burge Ministries, Inc (CBMI), founder, Chris Burge, re-located to Atlanta to expand his ministry and designated Mr. Boyd as the leader of CBMI New York. As leader, Dennis Boyd provides spiritual leadership, leads workshops, conducts weekly meetings, hosts conferences and provides mentorship and one-to-one counsel to a diverse network of adults. Mr. Boyd continues the ministry’s mission of equipping people to reach their divine potential through the practical application of biblical principles for personal development.

Dennis William Boyd Jr. has been working in the human service industry for twenty years and began as a senior camp counselor. With a degree in Business Administration and Human Resource Management, he worked in the private sector in various leadership capacities before he entered into his destiny. His life led him back to working with youth. As a consultant, he currently works with the New York City Department of Education, public schools, churches, and youth-focused not-for-profit organizations.
