Something is attractive about a full moon against the backdrop of the lake… But if you are scientifically minded, you will realize that the moon has no light. The moon is dark 24/7. The sun reflects off the moon. It is the work of the sun that enables the moon to shine. Some days you get a half moon, some days you get a quarter moon… Whenever you see less than the full moon, it means the earth is in the way. The earth has gotten in between a portion of the moon and the sun. The sun is there to light the whole moon, but the spin and the rotation of the earth, gets in the way and blocks the full light of the sun. Here is the question that each and every one of us must ask. What are we allowing to get in the way of God’s glory giving you a full life? Full direction, full joy, full success. He has so much he wants to reflect on our lives, but He is hindered when we allow things to get in the way!!! The Holy Spirit’s job is to point out things that are getting in the way of us receiving what the Son has for us!!! Being led by the Spirit is simply listening to the inward witness of the Holy Spirit so that the Son can reflect all that the finished work of the cross has for us!!!
